Portland Small Business Advertising With Spring Break Rain ...

Yes I know, the ads on the television show folks dressed in t-shirts and shorts, clipped green grass, and birds singing in the air. Of course, in our NW part of the country we have a lovely little thing which I dub ?The Oregon Annual Late Winter Water Show? or TOALWWS. So during TOALWWS is not not common for children and adults to become a bit stir crazy. It?s helps to just not watch some commercials or weather forecasts that are south. In our state its flooding.

So during this time, it can be a rather great moment for businesses to evaluate where they are in terms of their goals. With summer a few months away, people will be still wanting ways of finding entertainment and joy indoors. How does your business contribute to helping facilitate the well being of indoor activities? It doesn?t mean that just because you are not selling board games or own a waterproof theme park (yes build one actually!) that it doesn?t mean you are not valid. Here are a few points to consider:

1. Think of how you are presenting your own packaging materials to folks. Does it make sense right now?
2. Are you connecting things, like a drizzly spring break, into a topic which helps you relate?
3. How does your service help folks get a fresh step into the year?
4. Keep personal notes of the comments, observations, and trends that occur during Spring Break.
5. Attend events, especially those which are networking opportunities.
6. Write at least one of your own ideas and act it out!
